Quietmusic Dropped by KYOT

KYOT has changed it’s format, and now has a new name “Eva”. They have pulled the plug on Quietmusic in Phoenix. Sunday’s August 28 show was the last one. At this point, I will continue to produce the three hour show for my QM Plus subscribers. If you value my work and wish the music to continue, please lend me your support and sign up for a yearly subscription to Quietmusic Plus! Thank you.

Wow I’m deeply sadden about this The KYOT at one time was the best station in AZ!! RIP KYOT!!!

I am sorry to hear this. Not a fan of the new format and have been surfing stations to find something comparable. I enjoyed your program each Sunday.

Your program was the best thing on the radio! I too have been surfing the stations to find another but have not found one here in Phoenix. The station in Cali got me started listening to the KYOT when I first got here in “97″. I will miss the KYOT and all it’s programing. Sunday morning was the best!!

What a huge disappointment ! Sunday’s without Nick Francis and QM …..Is like cofffee with no aroma.
He eased us unto our day with music that soothed the soul. We will get you back somehow Nick.

Sorry to see the ghetto pop KYOT has gone to. The last straw was the Quiet Music cancelation.
I am looking for a new Jazz station in Phoenix and wishing Nick Francis will show back up in this market.

    Cheers

Loved waking up to your quiet music every Sunday morning and looked forward to it every weekend.     What a Huge mistake!     I dislike the new  Kyot  95.5 !!   in Phoenix Arizona.    No longer a listener.

People need to wake up and DEMAND a proper full-time jazz station in this major city. Way to sell out!!!
KYOT & quite music was the last station is listened to before moving to free streaming smooth jazz at http://www.musichoice.com

    Farewell K-Y-OOOOOOO-T

Agree wholeheartedly.  The new format on KYOT (now called EVA) is beyond awful.  The same old Michael Jackson songs several times a day mixed with rap.  I suspect they have lost a lot of listeners.

I can only ditto the forlorn comments from ex-KYOT listeners. Such a shame! I used to look forward to Sunday mornings; that first cup of coffee , the fresh morning air and that magical, sometimes mystical feeling enhanced by Quietmusic. I trust that another progressive station will reward its’ listeners with this program.

He is right, many Models(realtor’s showing) and apt rentals always played KYOT especially Nick’s day on Sunday morn for all to hear upon tours/showings. IT IS NOT THE SAME W/O NICK FRANCIS
