Quietmusic

The first Quietmusic program on KYOT aired on Sunday November 13, 1994. 15 years and 780 programs later, here’s another one. I cannot completely and comprehensively express the gratitude I feel to those who have listened to the program on a regular basis; to the many managers and staff members at KYOT for keeping the program on the air through the years; to the sponsors and advertisers who have supported the show; to the programmers around the country who carried the show in syndication, to my friends at WestStar for distributing the program far and wide around North America; and to the faithful fans of this program who have contacted and emailed me with their love, encouragement, and appreciation.

Here’s Hour Two from this morning’s broadcast:

This is where I work, in a small room with tall ceilings and three walls completely covered with CD’s and vinyl. We are in the midst of moving into a brand new building. Today, the majority of the staff are moving in; I’ll be joining them in a couple of months, after the on-air studios are built and ready for broadcast.
